Noah Shane McFarland

Noah joined our family on June 8th. 6 lbs. 3 oz. 19 1/2 inches, beautiful, healthy baby!

Harley is actually adjusting really well. She loves to help with her baby brother.

This is where Shane lived and slept for 3 days with me at the hospital.

I am recovering really well, the second time around was much easier!

Harley's 2nd Birthday!

We had a little Barbeque at my parents house that evening.

Harley got a pink and purple radio flyer tricyle. She loves it. We didn't get a lot of pictures of her other gifts because she wouldn't hold still long enough to get any that weren't blurry. She hasn't quite got the pedaling down, so grandpa is pushing her around. She still likes to be pushed around on it, but our backs can only do it for so long! She got bored with the bike when dad got the basketball out, so they switched toys for a minute! Dad is a little big for it.

We went to the park for a picnic that afternoon with my mom and Moroni my nephew. He is visiting for the week, so he got to celebrate Harley's birthday with her.

Sometimes they play together well!

Update on the House

Well, I'd say we're cruising on the house, but Shane would probably say different. They got all the walls done on the basement and the main floor sheeting in!

Here is our basement. Shane has to sweep water out everytime he goes over to the house. Luckily it's all from the rain and we haven't had any issues with potential flooding from water elsewhere.

More of the basement...

Here is a view of the main floor. The hole is where the stairs will go, and just left of that is our entryway and living room. It looks tiny from here, but I've got to fit a grand piano in that living room, we'll see how it all works out!

Here is the first main floor wall!

It's starting to look like a house now! It's so exciting!

This is going to be our deck in the back yard. Luckily there is one tree in the back that shades it perfectly in the evening.

Harley didn't know what to think of the lift. She wouldn't stay on very long. She enjoys helping at the house picking up empty bottles and playing in the sawdust. We like to put her to work!
