Yummy Chicken Marinade!

I got this recipe from Shane's family and I loved it, so I had to share...

Chicken Marinade

1 cup Sprite (I used a little more so it would cover all my chicken in a bowl)
1 TBS Salt
1 TBS Pepper
2 tsp Garlic Powder
1 TBS Oregano
2 TBS Lemon Juice
1/4 cup Olive Oil

I cut my chicken into strips and let it sit in this marinade all day or overnight. Pull it out and BBQ when you're ready... super easy and very juicy and tender!

Mother's Day

We gave my mom some flowers for her ladder outside. It was a team effort to make them, and I was so happy with how they turned out!

I took Shane to the Supercross for his birthday this year! It was a lot of fun. He's ready to buy a motorcycle now though, so maybe it wasn't such a good idea...

Easter

CHEEESE!!!

We went to Moab for our annual Easter trip. It was a blast. Harley got to ride fourwheelers and play in the sand all weekend...what more could you ask for?
Harley, Morgan (my little sis), and me...

We had an Easter egg hunt, it was a little chilly, but Harley didn't mind.

Yes, she is standing up on the little four wheeler, she takes after her father.

We colored Easter eggs, but it was getting close to nap time, Harley wasn't too interested.

We had sand in all places imaginable by the end of each day!

Shane finally got a truck! He was in seventh heaven pulling our trailer with it. Don't be confused by the nice toy hauler behind it though, we're not that high rolling! We can only claim the little tent trailer in front of it.

New Goings On...

No, I'm not gaining abnormal weight in my midsection, we are expecting a baby boy in June! My official due date is June 23rd, we'll see if he comes on Harley's birthday (the 20th). They will be almost exactly 2 years apart...what am I thinking???

We are also building a house! Yes, we like to do everything at once apparently. Shane is taking on the brunt of the work to save us some money, so he's been super busy. This is our beautiful hole; hopefully in a few months (maybe more like a year) it will be more livable.

Harley's New Bed

Harley got a new bed in anticipation for her new baby brother. She's not quite comfortable enough to sleep in it yet; I'm not sure if I'm comfortable with it either, it only has

3 sides instead of 4!
